Cermaq Releases 2025 Sustainability Report on Salmon Farming
Cermaq has published its Sustainability Report for fiscal year 2025. The report covers our salmon farming operations in Canada, Chile, and Norway, with consolidated data at group level. The fiscal year runs from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026. Performance data from the operations acquired from Grieg Seafood with effect from 2026 are not included.
The content and structure of the report are inspired by the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). The CSRD does not apply to Cermaq, and the report is not CSRD-compliant. The report as a whole has not been audited, but key performance indicators have been subject to limited assurance.
Transparency builds trust. Shared facts are the foundation for a shared understanding, which is why we report openly on our performance – both where we are doing well and where we still have work to do.
Cermaq was the first salmon farming company to publish an externally audited sustainability report, and transparent reporting remains a tradition we value highly. We will continue to develop our reporting in line with new regulatory requirements and the expectations of our stakeholders.
