Freshwater Water Hatchery Technician, full-time with benefits

Cermaq Canada is currently looking to fill the full-time permanent role of a Freshwater Hatchery Technician to join our team in Port Alberni, British Columbia. Hatchery Technicians are responsible for general hatchery husbandry operations, including incubation, water quality monitoring, mortality removals, and smolt transfers.

Saltwater Husbandry Technicians, full-time with benefits
Multiple locations, multiple positions
Hoping to start or further develop your aquaculture career?  Cermaq Canada is currently looking for multiple full-time permanent Saltwater Husbandry Technicians to join our saltwater production team. We have opportunities at our sea sites located across Vancouver Island with company provided transportation from various Island communities.

As a Husbandry Technician you’ll play a critical role in growing healthy salmon in a sustainable manner.  You’ll spend the majority of your day outside on the water caring for the fish.  This role is the perfect opportunity to satisfy your love of the outdoors, expand your husbandry skills, and contribute to local communities through sustainable aquaculture. Preference will be given to candidates with a diploma or degree in aquaculture.  If you are a team player who is physically fit, enjoy being outside in all weather conditions, and have a passion for sustainable aquaculture, then we want to hear from you!

Saltwater Operations Technician, Treatment Technician
Tofino, BC
Cermaq Canada is currently looking to fill a full time Treatment Technician position for our Tofino Saltwater operations. This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of the new Hydrolicing barge as well as carrying out the daily tasks associated with the Hydrolicing and other possible lice treatments.

Document Control Administrator
Campbell River, BC
Cermaq Canada is looking for a Document Control Administrator to join our Environment & Sustainable Development team to lead the document control system and provide support for audit management and other department processes. You would report to the Sustainability Manager. Your position’s primary responsibility will be to ensure that the document control system is operating optimally, that document control processes are accurately managed and user friendly, and provide support for the audit and sustainability reporting.

Saltwater Site Manager Tofino BC April 2019
Cermaq Canada is seeking to fill the roles of permanent full time role of Saltwater Production Site Managers to our West Coast Operations. If you have proven leadership skills, a safety mindset and a passion and experience in fish production then we want to hear from you!
