It is Cermaq’s vision to be an internationally leading company within aquaculture, with a particular focus on sustainable production of feed for salmon and trout, and the farming of salmon and trout. Only sustainable production can ensure a foundation for long-term production. We work with transparency and we engage in constructive dialogue with stakeholders to ensure the continuous improvement of our operations.

Fish health

Fish health and animal welfare are central elements in sustainable animal husbandry. Raw materials in the feed must be sustainable, and our production must not compromise future production. These are central elements in the environmental aspect of sustainable production.

Employees

Fish farming and the production of feed contribute to business and employment in local communities, often in rural areas. Our employees and local communities affected directly by our production are central to the social dimension of sustainable fish farming.

Safety

Our products must be safe and of high quality. Only in this way will we succeed as a market player.
