Cermaq presents solid Q1 results with operating profit of NOK 101 million
03.05.2012Despite low salmon prices Cermaq reported today an EBIT pre fair value of NOK 101 million and a return on capital employed of 16.6 percent. EWOS increased its volumes by 40 percent compared with last year, resulting in an EBIT of NOK 62 million. Good performance in Chile was the main contributor to an EBIT pre fair value for Mainstream of NOK 60 million.

A strong quarter concludes a full year record result
09.02.2012Cermaq reported today EBIT pre fair value for the fourth quarter 2011 of NOK 300 million, compared to NOK 574 million pre gain in fourth quarter 2010. The decline is mainly due to the sharp drop in salmon prices. At the same time EWOS and Mainstream Chile continue a strong performance. Cermaq reports record full year operational result and the Board of Directors proposes a 2011 dividend of NOK 4.63 per share.

23.12.2011The Board of Directors of Cermaq ASA has appointed Jon Hindar (55 years) as CEO of Cermaq ASA. He is currently the CEO of Norsun AS. The final decision on when Mr Hindar will take up his position is not made.
